The Glow, the Graft, and the Dropped Phone

Yesterday’s paid subscriber moment is still sitting with me. Small money, massive meaning. Proof that my words can land. Proof that what I’m building is real.

Today was less glow, more graft.

Life kept life-ing. I’ve been juggling the usual bits and pieces, trying to stay steady while the world throws its little tests, and its big ones too. I’m learning to protect my energy, not as a dramatic statement, but as a daily practice.

Also, Lauren has dropped another phone. Again. At this point I’m convinced her hands are sponsored by butter. If there’s an Olympic event for accidental device destruction, she’s taking gold.

On a more serious note, I’m proud today. Someone close to me is making real strides in their transition. Not perfect days, not easy days, but honest progress. Watching someone fight for their own peace, their own stability, their own future, it does something to you. It reminds you that change is possible when you keep showing up.

And I’m showing up too.

Support is not the same as self sacrifice.
Kindness is not the same as being drained.
Love is not a blank cheque.

Fire stays lit. Grace stays close.

Signing off with fire 🔥 and grace 🕊️
