If you kill the generational curse,
you free the child inside;
the one who learned to shrink herself,
the one who had to hide.
You silence all the echoes
of the wounds your parents knew,
and break the chains they handed down
before they touched you too.
If you kill the generational curse,
your children learn to stand;
with softer hearts, with clearer minds,
with steadier command.
You teach them storms aren’t destiny,
that scars don’t set their fate;
you show them how to open doors
they once thought came too late.
If you kill the generational curse,
the shadows lose their place;
the darkness in the family line
stops staring through your face.
The ghosts that fed on sorrow
are dismissed without remorse,
because healing starts the moment
you step off the broken course.
If you kill the generational curse,
you rise from what was done;
the taker loses claim on you,
the past no longer won.
You stitch your heart with courage,
you choose your truth, not theirs;
and every step you take becomes
the answer to your prayers.
If you kill the generational curse,
you rewrite what you’re worth
a woman forged in thunderlight,
reborn from wounded earth.
And those who come after
will know love instead of hurt…
because someone brave enough to bleed
finally stopped the curse.
