🌿 Softness with a Spine

She is a woman made of thunder,
soft-hearted, brave, and true,
who has walked through storms and quiet grief
and still found a way through.

She loves with depth that startles,
with loyalty that holds;
she gathers others’ broken hearts
in gentle, steady folds.

But she gives until she’s hollow,
takes on inherited fears,
quieting her own instincts
and swallowing her tears.

She shoulders chaos not her own,
mistakes guilt for love’s demand,
forgets her needs, her boundaries,
to offer one more hand.

She doubts herself too quickly,
lets kindness make her bend,
believes the promises of men
she aches to heal and mend.

Yet still she rises steady.
She is learning how to see
that loving every soul she meets
can cost her being she.

She is turning toward her courage,
toward quiet, chosen peace,
toward trusting what her gut knows
when all her doubts increase.

She is learning she is not selfish
for seeking rest and room,
for saving all her softness
for hearts that let hers bloom.

A woman in transition,
still fierce, still warm, still wise,
rewriting old survival scripts
with newly opened eyes.

She is not broken, not diminished,
not the scars the years once gave.
She is a blueprint redrawn slowly
by a heart that learned to save.

This is Tracey, rising gently,
reclaiming power long dismissed
a woman forged from tenderness
with iron in her fist.
