She Rose Anyway

By MissT

She broke in the dark where no one could see,

Heart full of splinters, soul begging to flee.

But even in silence, she whispered her name,

And gathered her pieces without any shame.

No knight, no call, no saving hand

Just her and the hurt she learned to withstand.

She stitched up her skin with threads made of truth

,And wore her own name like unshakable proof.

She danced with the ghost of the girl she had been,

Then opened the door and let daylight rush in.

She lit her own match,

set fear on the shelf,

And realised — she could carry herself.

She’s not made of marble,

she’s not made of steel,

But she’s weathered enough to know what is real.

Love her or leave her, she’s walking in flame,

Not chasing approval — just owning her name.

So when they ask how she bloomed from that ache

,Tell them:

She wasn’t born brave

She just chose not to break.
