This morning, someone told me I was stuck in a dream of “lamentation.”
That I should stop the drama, forget the past, and move on.
All because I’ve been writing about my truth, my healing, and my journey.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
Some people aren’t ready for your voice.
Not because it’s wrong—
But because it reminds them of things they’d rather not face in themselves.
I was told that my words didn’t matter. That my story was just emotional noise.
But instead of letting that shut me down, I did what I do best:
I turned it into a blog post.
Because my writing isn’t a cry for attention. It’s a reclaiming.
Of peace. Of power. Of parts of me that went quiet for too long.
So thank you—genuinely.
For the unsolicited advice, for the doubt, for the pressure to stay silent.
It reminded me just how far I’ve come.
And how committed I am to keep going.
This isn’t drama.
It’s healing. With a heartbeat.
This bird writes.
This bird heals.
And this bird does not take instructions.
